HNY 2022 & A Quickie Easy Survey Reminder for next Thursday 13 Jan 2022 | ARI Remix Project | Artist & Supporters Feedback Please | Project One [2011-2021] Stage Three [2020-2021] | Celebrating Ten Wonderful Years of Collaborative Memory Work
Hello. Happy New Year 2022 everyone,
I hope all is well for you now as this wee reminder ker-plonks on your desktop as a decade of collaborative ARI Remixing concludes.
It’s been an absolute joy and delight collaborating with you among so many during this persistent archival art initiative process, and /or being kindly supported and encouraged by you along the way.
Making an unruly archival art initiative and Web 2.0 art work like this has been made entirely possible with over 380 artist/ARI and thousands of digitised copies of ‘at risk’ artists’ ephemera resource(s) contributions so far, thanks so muchly!
As you may know we formally conclude Project One 2011-2021 arts funding acquittal process this month and hope that we can continue in a slow, informal and ongoing way to slowly grow the project into Project Two sometime in late 2022 or 2023. We are looking forward to making more zines together 🙂
Meanwhile we need to gather together artist and supporter perspectives, feedback and useful comments to fulfill our obligation to the projects funding agency Arts Queensland, who have kindly been with us through thick, thin and everything in between since the project began officially online in January 2015.
These useful first-hand perspectives also provide an invaluable social and cultural barometer of what is working, what is not what is needed into the future gaps and so on in an experimental participatory online archival art initiative like the one…..please feel free to fill it out by 8pm Thursday 13 Jan 2022 at the latest using your own rating words POV eg. love it, good, excellent, fabbo, why it matters, and so on etc….
Use the online form here fyi, up to 100 words in the comments boxes is good and then submit, thanks uber heaps:

Take care over the coming year, stay well, go well xxx
Best wishes for 2022 and then some,
Paul

I
I acknowledge the Quandamooka People as the traditional custodians of the lands in which I live, make and work where sovereignty was never ceded. I pay respects to their elders and their youth, past, present and emerging – and stand in sovereignty with the Uluru Statement from the Heart and their ongoing resistance against colonisation.
