Visual Artist

I have been making Art all my life. My early interests were ephemeral and focused on time based Performance and sound. The subjects were industrial and ritualistic. From 1998 on my work has been 2 D, mainly paintings that are photographed as they progress. The paintings are then destroyed or covered. The photographs are then loaded into computer programs to be layered, manipulated and transformed before being printed on to glass and aluminum surfaces. My interest is in subjects with a Buddhist outlook and the emotion’s of the mind in relation to “reality”. The work is informed from a series of personal illnesses including life long Mental Health issues and a series of Heart Attacks.
