ARI Remix Newsletter | (Re) Presenting | Ten Year Anniversary Issue #2 | Autumn 2021
Hello. Happy Autumn 2021 🙂
We at ARI Remix collective hope all is as well as can be as this second issue of our Ten Year Anniversary newsletter series lands on your desktop.
This shared Covid experience has been a good time for adding stories to this archival initiative and to sift through the analogue archives and locate hidden artists’ ephemera from a rich history of artist-run culture in SE Qld and regional Queensland.
Accessing, activating and representing personal collections including photo proof sheets, newsletters, exhibition documentation, photos, super 8 films, audio interviews and hand made artists’ ephemera is an important aspect of the ongoing memory work we perform.
We thought we’d share a few highlights this month from current ARI activities as well as recent and past examples of the collaborative work happening behind the scenes during this third and final installment of the DIY ARI Remix archival initiative this year.
(Re) Presenting 2021 | Artist Memory Blog Posts Deadline: A quick reminder that the next deadline for artists’ memory blog posts with digitised copies of artists’ ephemera is Friday May 28 2021. Access the nitty gritty info in the post below.
Best wishes for the season, see you again in Winter 2021
