XYZ ARI welcomes Expressions of Interest all year round.XYZ ARI is self-funded and not-for-profit, and is interested in facilitating the showing of new, critical and experimental work. We have a responsive programme that encourages artists to self-direct public outcomes, and when possible can offer in-kind support to artists seeking to develop new work.We are open to facilitating exhibitions, performances, screenings, and other types of spatial practices and public programming which may not be covered by the above terms. Based in Meanjin (Brisbane), XYZ ARI runs a roving program in both gallery situations and other public spaces. We encourage applications from across South-East Queensland and interstate, and hope in our programming to facilitate relevant connections between emerging arts practitioners. We currently do not charge any fees for exhibiting with XYZ, however a small refundable bond may be requested.Applications for group and dual exhibitions are strongly encouraged, as are curatorial projects and cross-disciplinary actions.About the proposalPlease include a project rationale, images or web links to documentation of previous work, as well as artist CVs and any preferred dates.
