Elements situates four contemporary art works around the HOTA parklands, each work interpreting one of four life elements: Air, Earth, Fire and Water. The artworks act as a collective mirror to the site and to ourselves, inviting the viewer to reflect, explore, engage, to flow, to find stillness and to listen out amongst the elements.

ABBEY MCCULLOCH
THE ADVENTURE

Opening this Sunday 1 December, 3 – 6pm.
Join us and the artist for some kooky lounge music and cool refreshments.

Exhibition continues until 22 December, 2019.

The works in THE ADVENTURE focus on this idea of running away. They represent this longing to escape from where we are, only to discover that it’s certain parts of ourselves that we are really needing solace or distraction from. The sculptures circle and writhe on the walls as if to say that that it’s the discovery of something exotic and unchartered inside of us that needs commemorating.
