4ZZZ – 40 Years of Independent Radio

4ZZZ has played a key role in the promotion of artist-run events during the last 40 years . ARI Remix acknowledges this role as instrumental in assisting with greater accessibility to diverse arts and culture activities. particularly during the 1980s and 1990s when there was little media coverage about the important role of artist runs in South East Queensland. 4ZZZ programs like Murri Hour, Arts Roundup and Arts on Air made a difference.
