Disco Dancing With Tony [2025] | Queer Life Writing 1964 to Now
Disco dancing is an enduring form of queer social dancing associated with the disco music and disco dance clubs of the 1970s and 1980s. I made this video artwork to commemorate dancing with Tony Kastanos in a Sydney Night Club in 2018. Sadly Tony died in January this year [2025] and this artwork is a small acknowledgement and tribute to his important contribution to sound composition, sound art, performance, electronica, experimental art, and life long disco dancing since the late 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s….
