Welcome to the ARI REMIX LIVING ARCHIVES & SOCIAL MEMORY PROJECT peers, friends and supporters page.

Living Archives like this one are activating hidden artist-run histories, ‘ writing from below’ and making an online keeping and collective memory place for artist participation, discussion, contestation and for varied way of making and storytelling for artists in the Web 2.0 archives…

As you may know by now a non-profit project on this scale is only made possible largely by the in-kind generosity, labour, care and support of many and varied artists who have directly and indirectly participated in Australian artist-run communities of practice.

We are asking for your kind support now by way of a modest donation to help us to optimise, expand, sustain, maintain and manage ongoing expenses of  web hosting, growing, transmitting and sharing this project.

You can make a humble donation directly here:

  1. Via the ARI Remix Stage Three crowdfunding campaign link above
  2. Direct here via the safe Pay Pal account link (NB: to be reactivated in March 2020)
  3. For non-credit  card donations for example by cheque or postal order contact us – info[at]ariremix.com.au

While we are immensely grateful for the funding we have received so far from both Arts Queensland and the Australia Council, we are now working together now to actively make the project become more sustainable and autonomous. To expand the digital infrastructure and artist participation during Stage Three – January 2019 – December 2021, and to help sustain and web archive the project into perpetuity ….thanking you for your care and support, we are truly grateful !

Best,

Paul Andrew
