‘BRIDGING’

Nadeem Tiafau Eshraghi & Georgia Hayward

Queensport Rocks Park, 29th September 4-6pm

DRIVER would like to welcome you to its first Magadjin/Brisbane exhibition ‘BRIDGING’ by Nadeem Tiafau Eshraghi & Georgia Hayward. The exhibition will be held under the gateway bridge at Queensport Rocks Park from 4-6pm on Sunday the 29th of September. There will be refreshments by donation onsite.

The work will be accompanied by words from Naomi Blacklock. In her essay she explains that ‘The bridge stands contra naturam, a bold transgression against the sacred void, a human-made intervention in the landscape’s eternal rhythm.’ Both artists have developed new site specific works and are looking into themes of preservation, memory and bridging as metaphor.

To celebrate the artists in the show we are selling prints on our website. These works have been created by the artists with the funds going directly towards supporting the production of new site specific work. To purchase a print you can head to our HARD DRIVE by the link below.
