Director & Curator, Beth Jackson
Beth is a curator of contemporary art with over twenty years’ professional experience and over ten years with a specialist focus in art for the public realm. Beth has practiced as a consultant since 2002, including a period as Curator at Brecknock Consulting from 2006 to 2012.
Beth has overseen the commissioning of permanent and temporary public artworks nationally for Clients in both public and private sectors, including state and local government authorities and departments, private developers and commercial entities. Projects have range across residential, commercial, governmental and mixed-use developments from capital cities to regional and remote communities.
Beth is a former Director and Curator of Griffith Artworks, Griffith University, with considerable experience in art collection management and policy, and arts program management including artists-in-residence, touring exhibitions, and events. Beth has specialist interest and expertise in new media, digital art and interdisciplinary arts practices.
