Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! NAIDOC 2022

Hello ! NAIDOC Week (3-10 July) is happening now, an opportunity for all people to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.
National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) Week recognises and celebrates the history and culture of Indigenous Australians through events, grantsa poster competition and the National NAIDOC Week Awards Ceremony, which showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander excellence.
This year’s theme calls for us all to Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! for systemic change and keep rallying around our mob, our Elders, our communities.
You can support and get to know your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through official NAIDOC activities and events held across the country.
