THE ENTIRE FESTIVAL IS FREE – HOBIENNALE

Hobiennale (HB17) is Tasmania’s new arts festival and the first of its kind in Australia.

Hobiennale unites artist-run initiatives from across Australia and New Zealand to curate exhibitions in Hobart, Clarence and Glenorchy.

The festival showcases the work of around 100 emerging and mid-career artists, occupying the region’s galleries, public and private spaces.

Our program also includes performances, artist talks, parties and workshops.

Yep, it’s going to be big (oh, and it’s all free).

That’s why we need your help.

We’re running a fundraising campaign with the Australian Cultural Fund to bring our artists over here and pay them some money for being a part of this extravaganza.

Be a part of Australia’s new, unique arts festival by donating here: australianculturalfund.org.au/projects/hobiennale-arts-festival

We’ll announce the full program 8 September, so keep an eye out.
