Hello! A wee reminder that The ‘Make a Scene’ exhibition is on now at the Queensland Museum Kurilpa, Level 2 until 19 July 2026. It was truly pure queer joy and delight to be interviewed by curator Chris Salter with filmmaker Simon Woods for such an important and rare queer-trans insight into Queensland’s independent 1980s-1990s DIY, art, ARIs, music, performance, design, LGBTQIA+ community and culture. Make a Scene: Fashioning Queer Identity and Club Culture in the 90s, is paving the way for more – and regular – queer exhibitions in years to come…finally….
